I received something rather frightening at work today. Since we are located very near a nuclear power facility, the Pfarmaceutical company I work for supplies employees with Sodium Iodine tablets….just in case there is a reactor breach.

It comes with a disclaimer for stupid people that I love: ‘This pill does not protect you from the dangers of radiation exposure, you should evacuate and seek shelter.’
